Holiday Wishes

I'm supposed to be cleaning (and in my world this phrase is always followed by the word 'but'...and this day is no exception) BUT instead I am baking and figuring out how many more Christmas cards I can make, write and put out in the mailbox before my postman gets here.  At least I'm consistent with my procrastinating!  Next up is finishing yet more ornaments...this batch is for family...finally! 

I do want to wish you and your families the happiest and healthiest of holiday seasons.  I hope you're like me and get to spend time with those you love.  I also wish you extra time to spend in your craft rooms.  I plan on living in mine during the rest of the holiday break!

Hoppy Fun

So I had told myself I'd spend some time cleaning our house.  (This is where my friends start laughing...)  Anyway, I have a couple of orders to fulfill and one of them is for an assortment of all-occasion cards.  I used this as an opportunity to have fun and try some things I haven't done in a while.  For this card I dusted off my Coluzzle and a Sell-a-bration set from last year.  It's hard to tell, but I used an oval for the striped Basic Grey Infuse paper on the left.  The frog images were punched using SU circle punches.  I was trying to create a sense of movement by leveraging the dotted 'trail' stamp from Papertrey's Little Lady set.  The ribbon is side-tied and is anchored by a SU vintage eyelet I set using my crop-a-dile.  I am fairly pleased with the results.

Ink:  SU basic brown, sahara sand, chocolate chip

Cardstock:  Papertrey White, SU whisper white, Basic Grey Infuse designer papers 

Stamps:  SU Very Punny, Papertrey Ink Little Lady

Other:  SU choc chip taffeta ribbon, vintage brad, circle and scalloped circle punches, crop-a-dile, Sakura clear glaze pen, watercolor wonder crayons, aquapainter
