Hi there!  TGIF, no?  And hooray for Dee picking a free pass Friday!!!!  This couldn't come at a better time.  Luckily I had something post-worthy lurking in my camera (and yeah, I did the ultimate no-no and photographed using a flash!).   I'm so excited today...I get to meet my newest niece in person (Skype only does so much).  My sister is doing what I'm going to call a flyby...she'll be in and out of town so fast I'll probably be wondering if she merely left the plane on the tarmac with the engines running.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #134

Hi there!  Whadda 'ya know...I obeyed the challenge this week!  Regan picked the colors and she says they were fabric inspired.  When is that girl not using fabric these days?!?  Her productivity amazes and inspires me.  I swear she only has to think of an idea and then with a snap of her fingers it's sitting completed on her craft table!!! Not much new around here...I spent my crafting money on new clothes again (oops...will Papertrey survive?!?) and I'm starting to think that spring might actually be arriving.  It's supposed to hit 70 degrees here today:)   Kind of suits the sunny colors, no?

Loonie Stampers Challenge #133

Hi there:)  First things first:  red is just an extension of pink, right?!?!  Sheesh.  I ran out of time this week and had to use a card from my stash.  I admit it!  Char I am so sorry...you pick such pretty colors and then I don't even play with them! 

So what the heck have I been doing?  Exercising.  Go ahead.  I'll wait until you get up off of the floor.  As of today - between diet and exercise - I'm down 25 pounds.  Really.  I still have a ways to go, but I told myself I'd celebrate at 25.  So wahoo!  I even went and had my hair done again yesterday and I'm going shopping for new spring clothes tomorrow after my pedicure.  I am becoming a high-maintenance woman and loving every minute of it!  Don't know why I didn't start earlier...

Loonie Stampers Challenge #132: I Had My Doubts!

Hi there!  I admit it...I had my doubts about this color challenge when Jewels put it up on our calendar.  I should know by now to not doubt our Jewels!  I am loving this!  And perhaps the best part about this card is that I stuck to my 2011 crafting resolution of using as many old supplies as possible.  Every piece of paper and cardstock came from my scrap mountain!  Wahoo!  But you should see the inside of this thing...my sewing machine went all kinds of crazy on me and it literally looks like a hairy, scary mess on the back.  I guess you could say it needs a trim ;)
