Loonie Stampers Challenge

Hi there:)  This week's challenge pick was Regan's and she went with this cool inspiration photo.  That gorgeous rust color plus all of the cold weather that just rushed into my corner of the world had me thinking autumn and thick sweaters!   I remembered I had a cute little purse die, added some houndstooth for texture and even some vellum.  Done!

Loonie Stampers Challenge: Black, Green and White

Hi there:)  Happy Friday to you!  It's LSC time again and this week was Char's pick.  Would you believe that she went with black, green and white?  On the opening weekend of football?!?  So I just had to do an Eagles card...somehow.  It's not easy finding Eagles 'stuff' and it was a tad expensive, but I found this embroidered patch and some rub-ons.  Yes, rub-ons.  I actually spent ten minutes figuring how to get the Eagles logo off of the cardboard and onto my card.  I figured some manly football texturing of the card and some messy white pencil marks on the edges made it manly enough to actually give this card to someone.  Maybe.

Loonie Stampers Challenge - Back To School

Hi there!  It's that time again!  We Loonies enjoyed our summer break (especially me...a whole summer off from work:) and now we're back with our weekly challenges.  It was Wendy's choice to pick the theme and she went with back-to-school.  A little ironic for me since that's what I've been doing for the last two weeks!  Ahhh...there's nothing quite like walking back into a school building at the end of August.  It's so fun to see all of the kids returning and to see how much they've grown over the summer.  I do love my job.

And guess what?  Wendy's BFF Rhonda agreed to join our crazy group!  She makes beautiful cards...Welcome Rho!!  Let's see what the girls did:
