Update: Thank you to everyone who shared their favorite stressbuster :) The randomly drawn winner of the ribbon is Chrissy L!! I've an email on the way to you to get your mailing address.
Hello there! How are you doing? Miss me? I've missed you. I've been sleeping a lot lately...sleeping off some stress. Heck - did you think I'd work it off by exercising??!!!? *Gasp* Never! A freshly-washed quilt and a pint of swiss chocolate ice cream usually make everything all better for me :) But there are those times when I'm tempted to reach for something a bit stronger than ice cream...hence this card! Believe it or not I made a square card and I enjoyed it! And check it out - I inked edges, layered, used punches, got tricky with ribbon and even added bling.
When was the last time I did all of that on one card? Here's a closeup to show you how I used a clear glaze pen on the eyes and glasses. Don't look too closely at my coloring as I'm still getting the hang of blending my Copics!
Ok - it's been forever and a day since I've offered any blog candy. And I'm in need of some stress-busting ideas...you see where I'm going with this, right? Leave a comment on this post sharing your best stressbuster and you'll be entered to win a little bit of happiness from me: five yards of May Arts ribbon in springy colors! I'm smiling just looking at the pile of them.
The drawing is open to individuals in the US and Canada and I'll randomly select the winner at 7pm EST tomorrow, 2/16/09. (A quick contest...the best kind!) I'll email the winner for their address and will hopefully have the package out in the mail on Tuesday afternoon :) Thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time...M
