Happy Saturday to you! I spent some time in my craft room this afternoon...after I cleaned for a bit. Ugh. Dusting, mopping, vacuuming and LAUNDRY! Where does all of that laundry come from? Anyway, it was time to put down the Swiffer and focus on replenishing my card stash! I didn't set out to make a sympathy card but it ended up that way. Almost all of the supplies for this card are from Papertrey. After stamping the leaves and flowers I added Lightening White Jesse James glitter dots to the centers of the large flowers and dotted the centers of the little buds with my Spica clear glitter pen. I l-o-v-e the new Papertrey ribbon. It is so pliable and soft. And it perfectly matches the Papertrey cardstock and the Everyday Blessings patterned papers. But - and maybe it's just the inkpads I received - I don't find that the ribbon matches the Papertrey inkpad colors. I was kind of disappointed about that. And the lids to my Papertrey Palette inkpads are extremely difficult to remove and are actually cracked in four different pressure point spots. Anyone else having these problems? But the ink colors are still very pretty on their own. I'm going to be using them again tonight.
Until next time...M
