Hi everyone! Hope you're doing well. We're having a quiet Friday night. Our oldest nephew (a junior in high school...husband's side of the family) has come to stay with us for the weekend and he and the husband are bonding downstairs over video games. I've been glued to the tv watching coverage of hurricane Ike. I'm just so grateful that my sister doesn't live in TX anymore as she would have been in harm's way. And I received news that my blogging friend, Courtney, was able to evacuate to a safer place. On my way home from work today I stopped off to see my friend Fran. While there she showed me this card that her daughter, Liz, made. A card made by Liz is a precious commodity, so Fran and I decided to surprise Liz and feature her in this entry. So...surprise! Isn't it pretty? I love the scalloped edge and how she trimmed down the embossed piece to show just a portion of the design. See the slider tag up top? I'm fairly certain that was made with a Sizzlet tag die. It reminds me of many summer 'Fridays off' that the three of use spent crafting together a couple of years ago. Fantastic memories...I can't wait to create some more. For now I'm off to the craft room. Since I can't sleep through the video game noises I may as well get myself in gear and have some fun. Hopefully I'll have some cute things to share with you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...M
Go LIZ!! great card!
