Hi! Hope you're having a great Saturday night. Have you seen the previews on Nichole's blog for Papertrey's September 15th releases? I'm coveting many items, but the one I can't wait to get my hands on is Melissa Bickford's Merry & Bright set. Those little trees are so cute! So tonight I spent some time cutting out patterned paper to make my own little trees...I had to do something to hold me over until I can get my hands on that stamp set! All I did was cut triangles out of 2.25" x 3" pieces of patterned paper. I sliced them into thirds, did a little mixing and matching, ran all of the edges across my antique linen distress inkpad and secured the pieces to the select white stock with pop up foam dots. I cut the tree trunks from a scrap of dark chocolate stock and added the sentiments with dark chocolate ink. Some dark chocolate satin ribbon and a couple of embossed lines (love my Scor-pal!) finish the design. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time...M
