Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We have been celebrating for days and even had a full house here yesterday. It was so much fun. Oh - Happy Boxing Day to my Canadian and British friends (especially my fellow Loonies!). While we all relax and enjoy let's not forget that it's Friday...time for the next LSC!! Jewels picked the challenge this week and she gave us the cool sketch below and the instruction to use Teacher's Apple or any similar stamp set. I decided to go for texture on this one...I really distressed the ripe avocado layer and did some embossing on the spring moss layer. Twill tape and an embossed Nestie label were the final pieces. (And I popped the Nestie label up on foam dots...)
Play along with us this week! Remember that it's not mandatory to use Papertrey products...substitute with whatever you have on hand. Check out the other Loonies and link up your creation in a comment on any of our blogs. We love to come visit you!
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...M
ps - I have so many projects to share with you! Now that they've all been gifted I can post them. I missed sharing with you!!! But first I'll be back this evening for Papertrey's blog hop at 8pm. The challenge is to reuse wrapping paper...can't wait to see what everyone else did!
Supplies:
Ink, Cardstock, Stamps: Papertrey
Other: Nestabilities Label 1 die, Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder, SU vintage brads, distressing tool
Love it! I wish I could do the hop tonight!
