Can you believe it's time already for the next Papertrey blog hop?! Tonight the challenge is to create a birthday card. So here's what I made:
I used some of the new black and white patterned papers and stamped on it with raspberry fizz ink. (I used the medium dot from Polka Dot Basics.) Then I colored the centers of each blossom with a silver glitter pen, wrapped it in ribbon and mounted it on some true black cardstock I'd trimmed with a scalloped punch. The sentiment, bow and button round out the cast of characters.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what everyone else made.
Until next time...M
Supplies:
Ink: Papertrey raspberry fizz and true black
Cardstock: Papertrey select white and true black; Papertrey black and white patterned papers
Stamps: Papertrey Piece of Cake and Polka Dot Basics
Other: Papertrey raspberry fizz satin ribbon, SU button, LSC ribbon, Fiskars threading water punch, stardust glitter pen
Marie your card is stunning, simply fabulous.

WOW Awesome card. What a great idea to stamp on the DP. Makes it stand out a lot. I was thinking for a few minutes as to what pen you used to mark the scalloped border and then it hit me that you had used the fiskars threading water border punch and the white base was adding the punch. Way too cool.
