Hi there! Isn't this guy cute? Last year Regan sent me a bunch of images stamped with this Kim Hughes set and I came across them again the other day. And the edging on the sentiment? Do you think it looks like snow? It was an accident. I was watching tv while crafting and didn't realize how far I'd distressed the edge in spots...so I tried to make it look like it was on purpose. I was distracted by that Fox show Glee. LOVE Glee. How could I not? I was a nerd in high school and I currently work at a high school. I so get the humor on that show. The Sue Sylvester character - while completely unlike anyone at my place of employment - is a RIOT! And did you know that you can watch episodes of Glee online for free at fox.com? Perhaps I am the last to learn this...but it's a fabulous pick-me-up after a bad day at work. Try it! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

Hi there! TGIF, right? This week was Wendy's turn to pick and I just about jumped up and down when I saw the details. This card is truly a Loonie card for me for several reasons. One, the green and chocolate papers were a gift from Dee (I think it was just Dee...the girls found the pack of papers for pennies and split it amongst all of us while we were at the beach together), I borrowed Regan's Kim Hughes stamps for the image, used Char's Memento ink to stamp it (or was it Regan's?), and Wendy patiently worked with me to show me how to use my Copics to color it. That Wendy is a natural when it comes to coloring!!! This card makes me happy because it makes me feel like I'm back at the beach with the girls. Good times! Hello! How are you doing this morning? All is well here. Not much new to report but I think that might be a good thing!!! As for today's card, this is a part of a set that I've been working on for some time. (It may not look like it, I know!) My sister has a 9yr. old miniature dachshund named Buddy. He's quite the older man at this point, and he has many quirks, but he has a special place in our extended family. So when I came across Kim Hughes' Little Gal set and found this stamp in there I just had to get it. Buddy is black and tan, hence the color choices. And check out the embossing - I'm trying to be clever. Dachshunds are hounds so I used the houndstooth folder. Ouch! I pulled my shoulder while patting myself on the back.
