I couldn't wait to share this scalloped dahlia. I've had the flower ready for a few days but I hadn't assembled the card until this morning. And I think I've found a new favorite thing - square cards! This particular one is a 5" square of purely pomegranate stock. The dahlia is from SU's Cutie Pie designer paper and check out the center - - I dusted off my build-a-brad and put it to use! Today must be a day to dig out unused items...I even unearthed my old SU Small Talk set for the sentiment. The dahlia was made using my blue Marvy scalloped circle punch and I used both my Sakura stardust glitter pen and my black Spica glitter pen to create the faux stitching. Check out the scallops on the dahlia...I used my stardust glitter pen to put a dot in the center of each. Carries out the dot motif and adds some sparkle. Fun stuff!
Until next time...M
